EDINBURG – They may come from different countries and with different backgrounds, but each one of The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's golf team's five freshmen has the same goal – to take the program to new heights.
 
There is a reason why UTRGV men's golf head coach Philip Tate brought in Henry Fisher, Miguel Garza, Luca Portelli, Michael Rizzo and Juan Diego Sanchez.
 
In their first year with the program, the process of taking the program to the next level has started to take shape and the future looks bright for UTRGV men's golf.
