EDINBURG – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Tuesday that 25 student-athletes at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley competing in the fall sports of men's cross country, men's and women's soccer, and volleyball are Fall Academic All-WAC honorees.
 
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year at the institution, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.
 
A total of 263 fall student-athletes in the WAC competing in the aforementioned sports, as well as women's cross country, were named to the list.
