Training Elements

These training elements are the foundation of a balanced strength and conditioning program. They are essential in developing healthy, highly competitive athletes and minimizing injury.

Strength
Systematic overload emphasizing core lifts in a proper push-pull ratio (ratio based on individual sport) through manipulating, intensity, volume, time, and duration.

Speed
Linear and lateral movement technique combined with acceleration and deceleration training with an emphasis on mechanics (sport speed vs. pure speed).

Power
Explosive movements which improve using a combination of strength and speed for specific sports.

Agility
Ability to change direction quickly through a combination of footwork, balance, stability, acceleration, deceleration, and body awareness.

Conditioning
High intensity intervals with a prescribed recovery time teaching the body to continuously operate at or near maximal effort.

Mobility
Increasing joint flexibility and laxity ratios through dynamic movements, myofascial release, and preventative exercises.
