Texas - Texas State-San Marcos (10-8) took advantage of a weary Texas-Pan
American (3-10) with a 5-1 win today. This was the fifth road match in the last
four days for the Lady Broncs. UTPA travels to Corpus Christi, April 16 to take
on IPFW and Northern Colorado. Start times have not yet been determined.
Vanessa Hedinger (Fr./Therwil, Switzerland/Gymnasium Berwil) continued her strong
play on the road trip by beating Melanie Hall, 6-3, 6-2 at Number One
Singles. Hedinger has now won four of her last five matches. Due to wet
court conditions, the doubles matches were not played.
