Edinburg,
Texas - Texas-Arlington (4-1, 12-7) remained in first place in the Southland
Conference with a 7-0 win over Texas-Pan American (0-2, 6-6). The Broncs have
finished the home portion of their season. UTPA will take on Texas Southern on
April 7. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
The match was the
final appearance for Tom Mangelschots (Sr./Limburg, Belgium/KA 2 HS).
Mangelschots ranks among the top 15 in Texas-Pan American history for
singles and overall wins. He was also selected to the UTPA Athletic Director's
Honor Roll for the 2002-03 school year.
