While Stephen F. Austin made a late charge in singles' action to score three points, it was not enough to steal the victory away from the Lady Broncs as UTPA was able to match their opponents by capturing three matches of their own.
Cirne-Lima posted a 6-2, 6-4 victory over Gadeva in the number-three rotation while Buksik defeated Rijalda Zejnic in the number-five position by scores of 6-2 and 7-5. In the number-six spot of the lineup, Cantu handed Mary Harrison a 6-2, 6-2 setback allowing the Lady Broncs to come away with the victory.
With the victory, the Lady Broncs improved their overall record to 7-7 on the 2007 spring campaign.
