The Broncs suffered their second straight loss against the Texas State Bobcats Wednesday afternoon at Bobcat Stadium in San Marcos, Texas.
The Broncs would not be able to match up to the Texas State Bobcats as they lost 8-0 making them 12-24 on the season.
The `Cats took an early start by scoring in the bottom of the first which led the way to a scoreless night for the Broncs.
The Broncs were able to keep the Bobcats scoreless for three consecutive innings before giving up three runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Matt Shepherd gained the loss for the Broncs only pitching two complete innings and making him 3-for-3 on the season.
The Broncs will be back at home with a three-game series this weekend beginning on Saturday with a doubleheader against Prairie View A&M with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
