Final Stats

SAN MARCOS, TX--The University of Texas-Pan American men's basketball program dropped an 80-70 decision to Texas State University Saturday afternoon in San Marcos, TX, at the Strahan Coliseum.

The Broncs out scored Texas State 47-38 in the second half, but were unable to overcome a 19-point deficit from the first half.

Jared Maree led the Broncs with 20 points, four rebounds and 4 steals. ChaRunn Jones and Ben Smith each scored 12 points to round out the leading scorers for the Broncs.

Cameron Johnson led Texas State with a game high 24 points and 10 rebounds. Emmanuel A'Moute Bidias scored 11 points with six rebounds while John Bowman and Uriel Segura each added 10 points.

The Broncs return to action on Monday (Dec. 7) as they travel to San Antonio, TX to take on the Roadrunners of UTSA. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
