The Panthers came back fighting in set two, grabbing the 3-0 lead. However, kills from Fichtel and a service ace from Kaitlin Vasquez tied the set at 4. UTPA claimed set two 25-13.
Points from Fichtel and Holman, along with several Panther errors helped the Broncs gain a 7-1 advantage over PVAMU.
