Final Stats
WACO, TX--The University of Texas-Pan American men's tennis program dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 6 Baylor University this Tuesday (Feb. 9) afternoon at the Baylor Tennis Center in Waco, Texas.
In singles play, Denes Lukacs defeated Aswin Vijayaragavan, 6-2, 6-3 at number one. Jordan Rux defeated Brett Bernstein at number two, 6-1, 6-0. At number three, Sergio Ramirez defeated Beau Bernstein, 6-4, 6-2. Dominik Mueller beat Nirvick Mohinta at number four, 6-4, 6-0. Marcus Dornauf lost to Roberto Maytin at number five, 6-4, 6-2. Maros Horny defeated Abdelhamid Riani, 6-3, 6-2 at number six.
In doubles, Roberto Maytin and Jordan Rux defeated Beau and Brett Bernstein 8-3 at number one and at number two, Denes Lukacs and Maros Horny defeated Ashwin Vijayaragavan and Nirvick Mohinta 8-1. At number three, Julian Bley and Sergio Ramirez defeated Marcus Dornauf and Andrew Irving 8-3.
The Broncs return to action on February 5, when they travel to Las Cruces, NM as they take on Northern Arizona. The match is slated to start at 1:30 p.m. CST.
