MEN'S TENNIS HOST PAIR OF FOES THIS WEEKEND IN EDINBURG

EDINBURG, TEXAS- The University of Texas Pan American men's tennis team will wrap up their 2011 Springs season as they face off against the University of Texas-San Antonio and St. Mary's University this weekend at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.

The Broncs will try to regroup after falling at the hands of the #6 Texas A&M Aggies on Wednesday afternoon. Victor Alves will try and continue his winning ways after defeating Beau Blackshear 6-4, 5-7, 13-11 and also winning in doubles action with teammate Ricardo Hopker.

UTPA's Beau Bernstein will look to start another win streak after having his three-match win streak snapped at the hands of the Aggies.

The Roadrunners are coming off of a sweep at the hands of the #6 Aggies last Sunday and will close out their spring season against Broncs on Saturday before heading to the Southland Conference Tournament.

The Broncs will have their final tune-up, before the Southland Conference Tournament, on Sunday morning against St. Mary's University who is coming off of a 9-0 loss against University of the Incarnate Word.

Matches against UTSA and St. Mary's begin at 10 a.m.at the Orville Cox Tennis Center.

After this weekend's matchups, UTPA will head to San Antonio, Texas for the Southland Conference Tournament that begins April 30th.
