EDINBURG, Texas - The University of Texas-Pan American men's tennis team wrapped up Southland Conference play for the 2011 regular season on Saturday with a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the University of Texas-San Antonio at the Cox Tennis Center. 

Ashwin Vijayaragavan earned the victory in the top singles flight ith a 6-2, 7-6 straight-sets victory over UTSA's Martin Ayala.

In the third flight Ricardo Hopker defeated Yannick Junger in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 to win the only other point of the match for the Broncs.

On the doubles side, Vijayaragavan and Beau Bernstein teamed up for a win against Ayala and Pedro Zanotelli 8-1. The Broncs would fall in the final two doubles flights to drop the doubles point.

The Broncs will wrap up their regular season on Sunday morning when the face off against St. Mary's University. Match-time is scheduled for 10:00 AM at the Cox Tennis Center in Edinburg.
