Home Sweet Home

The Broncs are in a stretch of five-straight home games to close the season after playing in 13-straight matches away from home to open it.

The Series

This is the 26th meeting all-time between the Broncs and the Mavericks in a series dating back to 1983. The Broncs have seven wins in that time, with the most recent coming in 1993, by a score of 5-1.

The Broncs and Mavericks have played competitive matches the last two years, with the Mavericks taking all three matches 4-3. Last year's match took place in Arlington. The first loss in 2010 was at a neutral site in San Antonio while the second match was in Corpus Christi during the semifinals of the Southland Conference Tournament.

This is the Mavericks' first visit to Edinburg since 2008.

Last Time Out

The Broncs are coming off of a 5-2 loss to the four-time defending Southland Conference Champion Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders on Tuesday.

The Broncs took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 and played competitive singles matches, but a tiebreaker at No. 1 and a three-set match at No. 5 didn't go the Broncs' way.

Sebastien Job won on court six 6-1, 7-5 to record the Broncs' lone singles point.
