SAN ANTONIO – Broncs starter
Dylan Badura notched a career-high four strikeouts in a career-high six innings of one-run ball, but the University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team fell to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners 7-1 on Tuesday at Roadrunner Field.
Badura (0-2) allowed just five hits, three of which were singles, and one walk.
The Roadrunners (6-3) got on their run against Badura in the second.
R.J. Perucki led off with a double to right-center field.
Riley Good followed with an RBI-double to the same area to make it 1-0.
Good finished 4-for-4 while Perucki went 2-for-3, including a two-run home run during a three-run eighth.

Nolan Trabanino (3-0) was in control from the beginning. After allowing a one-out single to
Riley Goulding in the second, he got
Alex Howe to ground into a double play and retired nine-straight batters.
Trabanino allowed just two hits over the first seven innings, striking out three. In the eighth, however, with the Broncs (2-6) trailing 4-0, PSJA alum
Bryan Ramirez recorded his first-career hit with a pinch-hit leadoff double to right field.
Dillon Engelhart followed with a single to left to set-up runners at the corners, but
Shane Klemcke struck out.
Wesley Cox then came in out of the bullpen and got
Andy Fortuna to ground into an RBI-fielder's choice before retiring Goulding on a fly out to end the inning with the score 4-1 Roadrunners.
The Broncs are back in action on Tuesday, March 5 at 4:30 p.m. when they visit No. 22/23/25 Texas in a game that will be televised live nationally on Longhorn Network. Fans will also be able to listen to the game online through
