FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's tennis team fell 1-6 to the No. 64 Arkansas Razorbacks in their second match of their doubleheader on Friday at the George M. Billingsley Tennis Center.
 
The Razorbacks (6-3) took control early of doubles as the team of Hall Ness and Pete Thomason defeated Juan Cruz Soria and Alejandro Sanoja 6-2 in No. 1 doubles. The team of Jovan Parlic and Christian Lee clinched the doubles point for Razorbacks as they beat the Broncs' team of Mauricio Fosado and Joseph Bishop in No. 3 doubles.
 
The Broncs (2-4) picked up their only point of the match as Joseph Bishop recorded his second victory of the day in No. 6 singles. After dropping the first set 4-6 to Jacob Herndon, Bishop bounced back in the second set with a 6-2 win and then he took the tiebreaker 10-6 to clinch the point.
 
The Razorbacks won the rest of the singles matches in straight sets.
 
The Broncs are back in action on Sunday at 12 p.m. when they face the Southern Methodist University Mustangs at the Bent Tree Country Club.
