The Vandals followed with an 8-0 run built on six free throws to take the lead back, but junior
T'Ondira Nolen hit a pair of free throws and junior
Brittany Bush made a layup to tie the game at 16-16 with 9:34 left.
The Vandals, however, responded with a 23-5 run over a span of more than eight minutes to go up 39-21.
The Broncs scored the final four points of the first half and first two of the second half to pull within 12, but that's as close as they got.
The Broncs kick-off a three game road trip on Thursday at 7 p.m. when they visit Chicago State.
