LYNNWOOD, Wash. – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team (11-16, 1-2 WAC) resumes Western Athletic Conference play by opening up a three-game series against the Seattle University Redhawks (8-11, 0-0 WAC) with a doubleheader on Friday at 5:45 p.m. at Triton Field on the campus of Edmonds Community College.
The schedule originally called for a single game at 8 p.m. at the Redhawk's primary home field, Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, but was moved due to current field conditions as a results of inclement weather. Bannerwood Park is a natural grass field. Triton Field is made of turf.
Due to the continuing threat of inclement weather in Seattle this weekend, Sunday's game, originally scheduled for 2 p.m. at Bannerwood Park was moved to Friday as part of a doubleheader.
Saturday's game, originally scheduled for 4 p.m. at Bannerwood Park, will now take place at 5 p.m. at Meridian Park in Shoreline, another turf field. Should the Broncs and Redhawks be unable to complete two complete games on Friday, they will finish whatever remains at 5 p.m. Saturday before starting the regularly scheduled game.
All games times, locations and dates remain subject to change. If changes are made, they will be posted on UTPABroncs.com and on the UTPABroncs
twitter and
facebook pages.
