Live StatsListen Live (UTPA Feed, Pregame coverage begins at 11:50 a.m.)Watch Live (WAC Feed)Game NotesMESA, Ariz. – The second-seeded University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team (27-29, 17-10 WAC) looks to play a pair of elimination games in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Friday at Cubs Park, starting at 1 p.m. against the sixth-seeded New Mexico State University Aggies (22-30, 11-13) and then at 5 p.m. against the Sacramento State Hornets (35-22, 21-6 WAC).
The Aggies opened the tournament with an 11-10 loss to third-seeded Utah Valley on Wednesday before eliminating fifth-seeded Seattle U 7-3 on Thursday.
The Hornets fell to fourth-seeded Bakersfield 4-1 on Thursday.
The team that emerges from these two games will face the loser of Utah Valley and Bakersfield on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the final elimination game before the championship game(s).
