EDINBURG – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's basketball team (9-8, 2-0 WAC) plays host to the preseason WAC favorite Bakersfield Roadrunners (12-5, 1-1 WAC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the UTPA Fieldhouse.

With a win, the Broncs will improve to 8-1 at home and 3-0 in conference play for the first time in program history. They would also tie the program record for best 18-game start.
