EDINBURG – The University of Texas-Pan American Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Saturday that, due to expected rain, sleet and freezing temperatures creating unsafe driving conditions in Abilene on Sunday night, Sunday's baseball game between the Broncs and Abilene Christian has been moved up to 9:30 a.m. at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.

Due to the time change, admission will be complimentary.

A winter storm watch is scheduled to go into effect for Abilene on Sunday at 6 p.m. According to the National Weather Service, there is the "potential for significant snow… sleet… or ice accumulations that may impact travel."

The game was originally scheduled for 12 p.m., but the earlier start time will allow the Wildcats to get on the road sooner.
