Box ScorePhoto GalleryLAS VEGAS, Nev. – The seventh-seeded University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's basketball team fell to the second-seeded Kansas City Kangaroos 70-61 on Thursday in the WAC Tournament Quarterfinals at Orleans Arena.
Senior
Shaquille Boga led the Broncs (10-21) with 14 points and five assists. Junior
Everett Osborne scored 11 points with a career-high three steals. Freshman
Dan Kimasa posted his fifth double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds to go with two blocks. Junior
Shaquille Hines scored 10 points with eight rebounds.
Kimasa finishes the season with a freshman record 44 blocks, the fourth-highest single-season total in program history.
Reese Holliday led the Kangaroos (14-18) with 18 points and eight rebounds.
Deshon Taylor scored 16 points.
Martez Harrison scored 14 points with six assists.

Elijah Watson each had a pair of layups as the Broncs jumped out to an 18-9 lead over the opening 10 minutes.
Holliday, however, bookended a 14-5 with three-pointers as the 'Roos came back to tie the game at 23-23 four and a half minutes later.
The 'Roos took their first lead at 28-27 on a Taylor three. It was the start of an 8-2 run to end the half as the 'Roos went up 33-29.
The Broncs came back to tie the game at 38-38 on a Hines layup with 17:30 remaining, but
Frank Williams hit a pair of threes and Taylor hit one of his own to power an 11-5 run that saw the 'Roos go up 49-43. They led the rest of the way.
