DALLAS – The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's tennis team fell the No. 31 ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys 0-4 in a neutral site match Wednesday at the SMU Tennis Complex.
 
The Cowboys (14-3) jumped out in front of the Broncs (3-7) as they clinched the doubles point with wins on court one and two.
 
"It was a good match for us to continue to improve and dedicate ourselves to the process of being the best competitors we can be," Broncs head coach Brandon Stokes said. "Oklahoma State is an elite program with solid leadership. We are better now from this experience. I love the fight, grit and spirit from our boys."
 
In singles, the Broncs continued to battle but the Cowboys controlled the rest of the way. Sophomore Juan Cruz Soria fell to Jakob Sude 1-6, 2-6 at No. 1 singles. Freshman Koby Jansen dropped his match to Lukas Finzelberg 4-6, 1-6 at No. 3 singles and then junior Hector Ramirez fell at No. 2 singles 5-7, 3-6 to Arjun Kadhe to clinch the match. The rest of the matches went unfinished once the match was clinched.
 
The Broncs are back in action on Thursday when they face the No. 63 UT Arlington Mavericks at 2 p.m.
