Sophomore
Jacob Huckabay and juniors
Correy Davis and
Cole Loncar led the Broncs (12-20, 0-10 WAC) offensively with two hits each. Freshman Nikki Rowe alum
Ryan Jackson pitched 3.2 innings of scoreless relief, striking out two.
The Roadrunners (18-14-1, 6-3-1 WAC) scored runs in the first and third off of freshman Harlingen South alum

Edgar Cordon, Huckabay and freshman
Isaac Gonzalez hit consecutive singles to bring the Broncs with 2-1.
That was it against Carter, who pitched a complete game, allowing nine hits and no walks while striking out one.
The Roadrunners responded in the bottom of the inning, though, as Williams hit a sacrifice fly and
Chance Gusbeth hit a two-run triple to make it 5-1.
In his first-career start, Martinez pitched a career-high 4.1 innings, recording a career-high two strikeouts.
The Broncs and Roadrunners play the middle game of this three-game series on Saturday at 8 p.m.
