EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (4-2) hosts the University of Houston (1-4) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

The first 150 fans in attendance will receive UTRGV mugs. Doors open at 6.

There will be a sendoff party for the NCAA Tournament-bound UTRGV volleyball team with free pizza while supplies last in the courtyard starting at 6 p.m. The volleyball team will also be recognized on the court in-between the first and second quarters.

Fans are encouraged to starting tweeting about the event using #TakeDownHTown to promote awareness, talk about the game, and help ensure a sellout.
 
Additionally, fans posting pictures using #TakeDownHTown during the game have a chance to see themselves on the video board.
