EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (8-6) returns from winter break to continue a seven-game home stand with a game against the University of St. Thomas (5-5) on Friday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

It's the second of three city nights in which fans from specific cities, towns and villages will be able to purchase general admission tickets discounted by $2 each by showing proof of residency. The areas being honored for this game are Alamo, Donna, Edcouch, Elsa, Escobares, La Grulla, La Joya, La Villa, Mercedes, Palmview, Penitas, Pharr, Progresso, Progresso Lakes, Rio Grande City, Roma, San Isidro, San Juan, Sullivan City, and Weslaco.

Doors open at 6.
