EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros women's basketball team (14-10, 6-3 WAC) hosts the University of Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroos (8-14, 3-6 WAC) on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse for Vaqueros for the Cure.

Fans are encouraged to think pink for breast cancer awareness by purchasing "Vaqueros for the Cure" t-shirts for $10 to show their support of breast cancer research. All t-shirt sales proceeds will go to the Renaissance Cancer Foundation.

Fans in attendance will also have the chance to win a pink themed gift basket, dinner for two, or a sweet pastries basket from Corner Bakery Café.

Doors open at 12.

The game will be televised live throughout the state of Texas on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel (323). Jonah Goldberg handles the play-by-play announcer while Tony Forina serves as the color commentator.
