EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros men's basketball team (6-19, 2-8 WAC) hosts the Seattle University Redhawks (12-12, 6-4 WAC) on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

It's the fifth annual Challenge of the Deans, when Deans from different colleges across campus, along with students from their colleges, compete in a free throw shooting competition at halftime.

It's also faculty and staff appreciation night. All UTRGV faculty and staff will receive free admission and popcorn with a valid UTRGV ID.

Additionally, one lucky fan in attendance will win a Nikon Cool Pix L610 digital camera.

Doors open at 6.

The game will be televised live throughout the state on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, channel 323. Jonah Goldberg handles the play-by-play announcer while Tony Forina serves as the color commentator.
