LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The second-seeded University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros women's basketball team (19-12, 9-5 WAC) faces off against the top-seeded New Mexico State University Aggies (25-4, 13-1 WAC) in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament Championship Game on Saturday at 3 p.m. CT (1 p.m. PT) at Orleans Arena.

The winner of this game advances to the NCAA Tournament. The loser moves on to the WNIT.

This is the second year in a row these two teams are meeting in the championship game.
