Game NotesEDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros baseball team (7-10) kicks off a two-game series against the Jackson State University Tigers (9-7) on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
The game was originally scheduled for 7 but was pushed back due to inclement weather.
The first 150 fans in attendance will receive green koozies.
Gates open at 6.
The game will be televised live throughout the state on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, channel 323.
Jonah Goldberg handles the play-by-play announcer while
Danny Elizondo and
Tony Forina serve as the color commentators.
