Baseball Closes Out Series With Sacramento State Saturday With Doubleheader

EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros baseball team (18-16, 7-3 WAC) closes out its three-game series against the Sacramento State Hornets (22-15, 10-3 WAC) with a doubleheader on Saturday starting at 2 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.

Saturday is also Family Day where parents in attendance with their children, who must be current UTRGV students, will receive general admission tickets at the discounted rate of $5.

Gates open at 1.

The game will be televised live throughout the state on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, Alt.channel 825. Danny Elizondo fills in on the play-by-play while Tony Forina serves as the color commentator.
