EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that, due to unplayable field conditions at UTRGV Baseball Stadium as a result of the heavy rain over the weekend, Tuesday's scheduled game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi has been canceled.
 
The game will not be made up.
 
UTRGV is scheduled to close out the regular season at home against Grand Canyon Thursday at 7 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 12 p.m.
 
Friday and Saturday's games will be televised nationally on American Sports Network. Additionally, all three games will be shown throughout the state of Texas on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel (323).
