EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros baseball team (20-28, 9-14 WAC) closes out the season against the Grand Canyon University Antelopes (25-27-1, 13-13 WAC) on Saturday at 12 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium in the second nationally televised home game in program history.

The senior class will be honored in a special pregame ceremony starting at 11:30 a.m. Gates open at 11.
Saturday's game is also Aydan's Toy Drive & Birthday Bash to benefit Aydan's Angels, a non-profit organization that collects children's toys to distribute to hospitalized children in the Rio Grande Valley. Fans who donate a new, unwrapped toy at the game will receive free general admission. Additionally, to commemorate what would have been Aydan's ninth birthday, UTRGV Athletics will encourage fans to sing happy birthday at the end of the fourth inning. There will then be free cupcakes for children to enjoy at the picnic area on the west side of the stadium.
Any fans bringing four non-perishable food items to the game will receive a free ticket as part of the Strike Out Hunger Promotion. All donations benefit the Food Bank RGV.
