STILLWATER, Okla. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's tennis team fell 1-6 to No. 14 Oklahoma State on Saturday at Greenwood Tennis Center.
Oklahoma State (1-0) swept through the doubles matches to grab the early lead and then followed that with five straight wins in singles to clinch the match.
Freshman Clément Sarradin got UTRGV (0-3) their lone point of the match with a 0-6, 6-5, 1-0 win over Mathieu Scaglia on court four. It marks the first career collegiate win for Sarradin.
UTRGV will be back in action on January 29 when they travel to San Antonio to face the University of Texas at San Antonio.
