EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley men's basketball team (0-0, 0-0 WAC) kicks off the 2017-18 season as they host Nicholls State University (0-0, 0-0 SLC) on Friday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

The first 200 fans in attendance will receive a surprise UTRGV giveaway. Doors open at 6 p.m.
