HOUSTON – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (19-13) competes in the Women's Basketball Invitational Quarterfinals for the first time when it visits Rice (19-13) on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Tudor Fieldhouse.

With a win, UTRGV will achieve its first 20-win season and UTRGV head coach Larry Tidwell will earn his 200th-career collegiate head coaching victory.
