EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley baseball team (18-18, 2-7 WAC) plays a doubleheader against Seattle University (11-19-1, 3-6 WAC) on Friday at 2 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
The first game is a makeup of Thursday's game, which was rained out. Game two, which will start at 6, is the regularly scheduled game.
The remainder of the mystery giveaway items will be given away to fans before game one. Gates open at 1.
At the game, fans will have the opportunity to win more prizes by participating in an Instagram scavenger hunt. Fans will be asked to take 10 specific photos and upload them to Instagram using a designated hashtag. The first 50 fans to complete the scavenger hunt will receive a UTRGV prize.
Game two features the Selena Night celebration.
The first 200 fans in attendance will receive commemorative Selena Night buttons.
Fans will have the opportunity to win various Selena prizes throughout the game by registering for the night's raffles at the iPad station located inside the main entrance.
Additionally, fans will also have the chance to win UTRGV prizes by participating in Twitter Trivia throughout the game.
Be sure to sport your favorite Selena t-shirt, hat, lipstick, and more to be entered into our Facebook contest for your chance to be voted as Selena's number one fan.
Photos will be taken of Selena fans by athletics staff members from 5-to-6:30 and uploaded to the official
Facebook page of UTRGV Athletics. The photo to receive the most likes by the seventh inning stretch will be declared the winner.
