EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (1-1, 0-0 WAC) kicks off its first road trip of the season when it faces the University of Texas at San Antonio on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Convocation Center.

It's the first of three straight road games as it will also face Canisius and UMass before returning home to host St. Thomas on Nov. 25.
