EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (0-0, 0-0 WAC) is set to kick off the 2018-19 season as it hosts Texas Lutheran University (1-0, 0-0 SCAC) on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

It's Military Appreciation Day where Veterans and Active Duty Military get free admission. Accompanying guests will receive $3 general admission tickets.

Doors open at 6.
