EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley baseball team (13-9) opens Western Athletic Conference play on Friday at 7 p.m. against CSU Bakersfield (9-13) at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.

The first 250 fans in attendance will receive car magnets.
