EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley baseball team (7-6) kicks off an eight-game home stand with the first of four against Maine (3-8) on Friday at 7 p.m. at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.

As spring break begins, UTRGV is inviting Hidalgo Country residents to enjoy a staycation. Fans that present proof of residency in Hidalgo County such as a driver's license or electricity bill at the box office can purchase specially priced tickets of $3 each.
