EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley volleyball team (6-4) is set to host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi as it looks to extend its lead in the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
UTRGV currently leads in the showdown standings 4.5 to 1.5 with a chance to pick up a possible three points for the win and another point for attendance.
It's also $2 Tuesday where tickets and most concession items will cost $2 or less. There will also be a showdown t-shirt giveaway.
Doors open at 6.
