EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (8-8, 2-1 WAC) returns to the UTRGV Fieldhouse to host Utah Valley University (9-7, 3-0 WAC), who is currently in first place in the Western Athletic Conference standings, on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Thursday is Back-to-School Night where the first 200 current UTRGV students in attendance will receive an exclusive student giveaway. Students can also enter a raffle to win a UTRGV gift basket with back-to-school essentials. Doors open at 6 p.m.
