CORPUS CHRISTI – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (2-2) looks to add to UTRGV's lead in the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, as it faces Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (2-2) on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Dugan Wellness Center.

UTRGV currently leads in the showdown standings 13 to 9 with the next event coming up on Nov. 30 when men's basketball hosts the Islanders at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.
