RIO GRANDE VALLEY – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women's basketball team (5-3) is set to face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (5-3), as part of the South Texas Showdown, presented by Navy Army Community Credit Union, on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse to close out its four-game homestand.
UTRGV, UTPA, and UTB alumni and accompanying guests can get in for $5 as part of Alumni Night. The first 200 fans in attendance will receive #BeatCorpus t-shirts.
Current UTRGV students get free general admission with a valid UTRGV student ID. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at
UTRGVTickets.com. Fans purchasing their tickets online prior to game day can save up to $2 per ticket. The party starts at Vaquero Village at 5:30.
