EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley baseball team (5-3) hosts Rhode Island (2-4) on Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 12 for a doubleheader, and Sunday at 12 at UTRGV Baseball Stadium.
Friday is Friends and Family Night. Fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks for just $25. This game also features the Raising Cane's Challenge. If UTRGV wins, fans can take home a buy one, get one free Raising Cane's box combo coupon. Gates open at 6.
Sunday's game features Strike Out Hunger. Fans donating five non-perishable food items receive free general admission. Donations benefit the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley.
Gates open at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
