EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (11-10, 5-3 WAC) begins its second time through Western Athletic Conference play when it hosts Grand Canyon University on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the UTRGV Fieldhouse.

It is Believe in a Cure Night where the first 200 fans in attendance will receive a "Believe in a Cure" rally towel. Doors open at 6 p.m.
