LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The second seeded University of Texas Rio Grande Valley women's basketball team (16-13, 10-6 WAC) opens up play at the Western Athletic Conference Tournament when it faces No. 7 Seattle University on Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Orleans Arena.

The winner of the quarterfinal matchup will face the winner of No. 3 CSU Bakersfield and No. 6 Grand Canyon on Friday.
