SEATTLE, Wash. – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men's tennis team closes out the regular season this weekend when it faces Chicago State and Grand Canyon at the Amy Yee Tennis Center.
 
UTRGV will face Chicago State at 10:30 a.m. on Friday and Grand Canyon at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
 
Last Time Out

• UTRGV closed out the first portion of the WAC Cluster with a 7-0 victory over Seattle U.
• UTRGV took the doubles point with wins on every court. 
• Zane Kohrs and Samuel de Felipe Garcia won 6-3 on court 1, George Hutchings and Yehonatan Kaufman won 6-2 on court 2, and Clément Sarradin and Mateo Schmit won 7-5 on court 3.
• UTRGV won on every court in singles play while dropping just one set.

 
All-Time Series

• UTRGV is 4-0 all-time against Chicago State in a series that dates back to 2015.
• Both teams faced off last season as it was UTRGV who came away with the 5-2 victory in Chicago.
• UTRGV is 1-4 all-time against Grand Canyon in a series that dates back to 2014.

• GCU is 80-35 in singles play with five players in double figure victories. 
• Lucas Grego leads the way with a 17-3 record.
• In doubles, GCU is 38-13 while using just three teams all season.
• Valentin Lang and Jakub Novak lead the team with a 14-3 record.
