BROWNSVILLE – The fifth-seeded University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) men's tennis team is set to compete at the Western Athletic Conference Tournament starting on Friday at the Brownsville Tennis Center.
UTRGV opens against No. 4 Chicago State at 1 p.m. with the winner moving on to face top-seeded Grand Canyon on Saturday at 1 p.m.
All-Time Series

Last Time Out
- UTRGV closed out its regular season with a 0-7 loss to Grand Canyon.

WAC Honors
- All-WAC honors were announced on Thursday with Yehonatan Kaufman earned All-WAC Second Team honors in singles after going 2-3 in WAC play.
- Mateo Schmit and Clément Sarradin teamed up to earn All-WAC Second Team honors in doubles.
