EDINBURG – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Monday that Terry Winn III, who played two and a half seasons for the men's basketball team before graduating in May, has signed a professional contract with BBC Arantia Larochette in Luxembourg.
 
BBC Arantia Larochette's preseason gets underway on Aug. 17.
 
All All-WAC Second Team selection this past season, Winn averaged a team-best 12.6 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 44.5 percent from the field and 71.3 percent from the foul line in 37 games. Winn ranked 12^thin the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) in scoring, 10^thin defensive rebounding (3.8 per game) and 15^thin rebounding. He led the team in scoring 12 times, rebounding 12 times and assists three times while reached double-figures in scoring 23 times, including three games of 20+ points.
 
Winn was selected to represent the WAC in the 3x3U National Championship Tournament in April. He went on to play with the West Virginia Wildcats in The Basketball Tournament in July.
